Check out these shots from my shoot with Andrew this week.

Last week I photographed John Dash in downtown Hoboken, and the weather was right on! The week before it was cold, rainy, and miserable, so we had a bit of luck for this shoot. John wanted a few shots that were spontaneous and un-posed, so included in this gallery are him eating a pizza and reading the paper (which my assistant Albena had to run around town to find).
It was a refreshing change of pace after asking him to pose for three hours!

Since I moved to New York City two years ago, I have had the privilege to photograph Skidmore alums for my alma mater’s alumni magazine in the city. Each time, I get to talk to the subject about their experience at Skidmore and learn new things about how my school used to be.
However, this was the first time I was hired to photograph an alum that was younger than me! Strange to think college was three years ago…

Here are a couple pictures from my shoot last week with Shadi, a friend I met recently in my apartment building.

Last week I photographed an event at the New York Institute of Technology (NYIT) with a man coined “China’s Bill Gates”. Wang Wenjing is the founder and chairman of UFIDA, China’s largest management software supplier. And unlike Bill Gates, he finished college!
You can read more about him here: Wang Wenjing at NYIT
